I don't understand how you guys get so good with the drawing tablets. I've had mine for a while but I suck at using it because it's not like drawing, I can't get used to it being like the mouse of my computer and not more like a pen on paper so I can see both at once and exactly where something will go, and I suck on paper because I mess up so much the paper looks like stuff so I end up tossing it. (except on really rare occasions I don't mess up, in which it looks nice.)

That being said, I've been looking at the Cintiqs 13(the small one) because I can actually undo things, and I can still get what I was missing with the standard tablet. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I have an LCD tablet like the Cintiq. They're top notch.

Have you had any issues with it? It's quite a bit so I'm doing my own research on it myself before I consider lol.

arent those hella expensive

arent those hella expensive

1k for the lowest tier Wacom one which I am thinking of getting.

The ones the size of monitors go above 2k.

Yiynova sells LCD tablets cheap. 19" for $500. I have this. Very good. People who have both Yiynoca and Cintiq say they are almost on par.

I think I'm going to stick with the Cintiq, only because I can actually vouch for Wacom's quality while I've never even heard of Yiynova until now, I'm sure it works fine but I'd like to stick with what I know if I'm going to be dropping more than like $300+

you're willing to pay twice as much for that?

Yes, I would pay more for something higher quality believe it or not. After looking more into it the resolution of the 19" one is lower than that of the one I intend to get (which is 13") so it has higher pixel density, I can't say for sure if that one has free software with it but this one does, it also isn't bulky. In other words the more expensive one is nicer.

pixel density is barely important for drawing, I'd say a bigger screen would be better
afaik, the only other differences are a brand name and a less bulky product, and that isn't worth $500 for me. whatever though, it's your money

also, that's pretty good, but the roosterpit is lacking :v

I strive to not regret what I purchase. I'd rather spend $1000 and be completely satisfied than spend $500 and repeatedly think to myself "I wish I went with the other one." Plain and simple, I don't want a large thing to draw on, to me it'd be plain awkward to have some huge surface, I want standard paper size, and pixel density doesn't make a difference in drawing, but it does make it look nicer. I doubt my desk would even fit the 19" one without moving things around or having to remove my screen to use it. Their smaller one has really iffy ratings too, though it's only $300 it looks really awkward to use to me. Trust me I'm not looking to waste my money. If you can find me a better tablet for cheaper feel free to look and I'll go for it lol.

How did I do?

On top of what Night Fox said, that wheel in the top right looks odd, it's shape is off for the angle, looks more like an oval wheel than circular like the others. Other than that it's fine.
