Can I get some more actual opinions on this, by the way?  I don't normally draw feminine figures, and it'd be nice to get some feedback.

but seriously, the head looks largish but I assume that's what you were going for with the cartoony feel, and the beak isn't really centered. rest looks ok to me

I'm a good drawer, I can pretty much draw anything if I apply myself and take the time (which I rarely do)

it's kinda hard to make out details since it's a picture, but hey the shading is very nice, i can't do that with pencils for stuff because i hate finger smudging
did you use a reference?

didnt use a reference, and yeah i'll take a non stuffty picture when im done, its a doodle so i just used my phone. i didnt use my fingers for shading, i used a blending stump

i suggest you clean up your lines and try to incorporate a straightedge more often into your planning stage. looks crude/incomplete in its current state, but it'll look better with less sloppy lines.
