don't try to mimic other people's styles. go for what is already comfortable for you and makes it possible to draw whatever you're attempting.

just keep practicing with consistency and eventually you'll get better and better

mimicking people you enjoy and assimilating their style into your own is a fine way to create your own style, however

well actually
don't COPY people obviously but its actually good to get insp from others

"Good artists copy, great artists steal" etc etc

Also wtf its been 100 pages already?

nobody probably rly cares but like 98% of my artstyle is just seeing something and going "wow i like how that looks" and then i just shove it into my art

dont do styles, start with semi realism or intense realism if you really like it, starting with a different style generally never works because you can almost never improve because you have nothing to improve on
When you start with realism your able to change things and your better able to change things without it looking like crap
otherwise, your stuck with one style, the one that you copied from someone else

so really just get a sense of realism before drawing and anime cartoon etc crap

^^^ yes
learn the rules, then bend the rules.
i have not done this because i am a lazy sack of stuff but oh well i can try
