Author Topic: Vindictus Gold Legitimate?  (Read 9675 times)

Ok so i found a site called ogpal.com which sells in-game gold and other forms of currency.

And i wanted to buy 600k gold for Vindictus for only like 3 bucks and i thought i would get the thoughts and help of the community on this matter.

The thing that bothers me is shown in this chat transcript.

Guest: Well, i am not sure this company is very legit, i mean there's lots of other companies i can buy from that i trust.
David: Website feedback is for your reference if you donot mind taking a look
David: :)
Guest: I've looked at the feedback, but for some reason i'm afraid to purchase from you, Because of my experience with other websites like yours.
Guest: my bank account was nearly wiped out with others.
David: I see
David: It would never happen here
David: I think you can try to place a small order first
David: Our company has been legally established since 2006

So, is it legitimate or not?

I jolly man named david offering gold with a smile

what could possibly go wrong

Well, this company claims that they create characters, and somehow farm the gold.

And buy from there "Suppliers"

I read chat log from bottom to top first, and got confused.

Wut. On what game?

Make an alt and buy a little bit of money from them for your alt.

If it's legit, just trade it to your main.

SOLUTION: Realize that if you are so emotionally/mentally invested in a videogame that you're willing to trade real money for monopoly money, then maybe you should not take it so seriously.  Especially at risk of identity theft or otherwise.  It's just a game.

I thought most MMO's had rules against buying/selling in-game money with real money?

Don't buy gold from websites.
Alot of the time the gold is from stolen accounts, It also ruins the games economy.
It's also against the games rules.

Vindictus gold is easy to get and there's barely anything you can do with it. I'm not even level 40 and I rarely play and I have almost 2mil.
Also most gold selling sites are scams. That website doesn't even have proper english.

legally established since 2006
technically it is illegal to sell gold. as they do not own it to begin with.

you cant trade any game companies items/gold/accounts for real money because you do not own the intellectual rights.

Reviews say it's legit.
50s and 60s is not a good rating.
I don't know much about how WOT works, but its probably very easy for the company to fake their own ratings on it.

Really the only way to know for sure is to buy the smallest amount and see how it goes, but then your still breaking the game, breaking the rules, and supporting to bots that spam our games chat and annoy everyone. Not to mention as I said before, there's no need to have money on Vindictus. Most quest items are either untradable or extremely cheap, and you don't need to bother with upgrades and dying until you have a level cap weapon and armor set as your just going to be replacing them quickly.
