Font's not working very well, possible to fix?

I have been using different fonts such as 'French script mt', when I write something the place at the screen where the message should be just goes black or white with a few words in. This have also annoyed me for a while. Is there anyway to fix it? Or could it just be my computer?

Well, the problem is that the fonts is default, they should work out good but only a few words show up.

Actually, it seems HIS problem happens when the font size used is unsupported, such as being too big for the area. Try different sizes, Erik1.

Also note that I believe they also need the font you're using to see it correctly. If you try others, make sure they're generally supported over platforms,.

Thank you. But it happened with other fonts to french script mt was just a example. And with a smaller sizes it won't work sometimes too.
