Right click on claim, click set permissions, click the green color and check all of the permissions you want them to have, then click buy and close. Then set their color to green in the kinlist.

It does work youre doing it wrong. It works for me and everyone else

Right click your claim stake. Click what color button you want to set your friends as. Check all the checkboxes. Click buy. Exit out. Open the kin menu. Click the person you want, and click the color you set earlier. Either close the box or go to the next person. Tadaaa

Right click on your personal claim.
Select a color other then white.
Select the 3 check boxes at the bottom labeled "Tresspassing, Stealing, Vandalism".
Open your Kin list.
Select someone you want to have rights to your land.
Select the color you previously selected when you opened the personal claim.
Rinse, repeat.
