wasn't even quitting in the first place, for the most part. was more of a hiatus until things weren't a total grindfest or until i rekindled interest.

i grid ours all perfectly lol. im all brown town about it. 5 tiles between each support (so every 6th)

but we have this young girl who spawned near us that we let join, and she grinds the second miner alt for our village.
i make sure supports are prebuilt and pre started, and carve out outlines of safe places to mine.

im not going to let her kill herself and ruin the mine with cave-ins because she wasn't paying attention lol

I'm not mining yet but I'll be starting soon. My OCD will force me to go in a pattern. Also no cave ins.
