I have a colorset which has an invisible color. For you, put down the brick, and then take out the wrench, and on the bottom of the menu.
Theres three options
[√] Ray Casting
[√] Collision
[√] Rendering
Uncheck Rendering, and it'l go invisible, uncheck Collision, and you can walk through it, uncheck Ray Casting, cars can go through, camera, bullets, and you can't click it.
So uncheck Rendering, and then build the plates ontop of that, leveled with the wall.

Build bricks under it to be able to build the bricks at the desired height, then press Q to toggle your tools and scroll to the wrench. Click the bricks supporting the tiles and uncheck "Rendering". That's how to make bricks invisible. The other 2, collision and raycasting. Raycasting, when checked, allowed projectiles to collide with the brick. Collision allows players and vehicles to be stopped by a brick.

EDIT: Dill, vehicles wheels are blocked when raycasting is checked, but collision can effect the vehicle itself.

Oh, I just forgot:

see the studs? you can attatch objects to it. if you try it with the print plates, you'll just get a "float".

examples:

with studs:

without studs:

I just realized this because of my chess set I made on page 1 of this topic.
