Author Topic: Isar Needs Your Help: Hunt For Save Leaker  (Read 13961 times)

Titanium's been here for an EXTREMELY long time, while completing some extremely great buildings. He's probably been here longer than you, so shut your mouth over "seniority" stuff.

Assuming his forum name is his in-game name, he has been here much less. I do not need to be lectured about our community from someone who joined long after me.

And you say you have no ego. Like I said, shut up about seniority, because we should all respect each other.

Don't. We've all been playing longer than you, don't try to tell me what this community is.

You assume that my forum join date is the same as my key purchase date.

Whatever.  I was trying to explain a different viewpoint, but apparently you are more worried about stroking your ego.

You assume that my forum join date is the same as my key purchase date.

Yeah, I'm sure you waited for 9000 IDs to pass before you bought it.

And you say you have no ego. Like I said, shut up about seniority, because we should all respect each other.

Your ego is far bigger than mine, so I wouldn't talk. You have spewed more arrogance in the last week than I've seen from anyone.

Apparently anyone who says you have a high ego has high ego too. It takes one to know one, I guess.

Yeah, I'm sure you waited for 9000 IDs to pass before you bought it.

So what if I did?  What possible difference would it make?  Just to clarify, yes you have been here longer than I have.  Your ID is lower than mine.  But it is responses like the aforementioned that leads me to believe that Valid knew he was going to get a dramatic reaction when he decided to troll you.

It also makes you seem like an ID tribal since you apparently think that the time you spent playing BL before me has anything to do with the fact that this whole drama was started over an issue which took place in the past few weeks.

I'm not trying to attack you.  Really, I'm not.  I'm just saying that it is not as big of a deal as you think it is.

My ego is pretty stuffty, being crunched up in drama and hatred in-game all the time (let alone life events) is not a booster, I don't think you understand what an ego is.

He wasn't trolling me, moron. It pays to read the drama before contributing. Jesus christ.

As I said, someone talking down to me about what the community is when I've been here at least twice as long is patronizing to say the least.

Lower IDs are more refined, and that is because they understand the community better and its mannerisms. The misconception is that high IDs are useless at the game, which is balls because people often have demo before they buy. But its the community and the in-game etiquette that must be learned, and invariably the oldest IDs now will be the older players, since they were released quite some time a go.

Haven't read the thread, but how does this do anything to Isar tower?

I don't need to read a drama over someone, when he himself said that he was trolling you.

I guess when all else fails resort to insults right?  A simple fix..."you" should be "Icycigarettes."  Don't freak ou...nevermind.

ID stuff

I could list plenty of examples where your stereotype is wrong, but it is irrelevant to the thread.

Haven't read the thread, but how does this do anything to Isar tower?

Synopsis: IcyGamma hosts Isar Tower on New Year's Eve.  Visitor to the server (Valid_, a.k.a. LcyGamma) saves the build.  Valid hosts the build under the name LcyGamma to troll all the IcyGamma clones.  The real Icy finds out his build has been saved and seeks to find out who it is.  Valid admits to it, Icy continues to explain his viewpoint saying that it is plagiarism.  Two drama topics are made about it.  Here we are.

But this comes back to my question: How the forget does this hurt/do a damn thing to Isar?

No no.
Lcy is banned. Valid was IcyQamma, who is also banned (figures) but didn't have the build apparently. Now its the hunt to find who did leak it. I've known it was leaked, but I discovered it was the New Years version, which only a handful visited.

But this comes back to my question: How the forget does this hurt/do a damn thing to Isar?

Exactly.

Real Isar loses traffic
Fake Isar is hosted by an imposter someone who bans, effecting traffic to the actual server even more and slandering me
Fake Isar will be broken, people will have a bad experience and not come back
People will IRC and complain to me about servers I don't run
