Author Topic: Enable Sticky Topics  (Read 533 times)

No, not start a topic and stick it. After it recieves good amounts of posts and activity.

Perfect example to present this: the Minecraft Topic.

So, say you start a topic, and it reaches 1,000 pages. You'll get a PM with the option of stickying the topic for 1 month, and as long as it receives a certain amount of posts/pages in that month, it will stay stickied.
If it doesn't receive the required amount of posts, it will be unstickied.

?

That would be a pretty good idea. The only problem is a "Post here to get it stickied" topic..

Then the topic would be deleted as a spam topic.

Topics with large amounts of activity are already bumped up towards the top of the list, all this would do is lock it in place at the top and stay there even once it's all died off.

I don't see any use for this.

Once it starts to lose popularity, then it automaticly unstickies.

But once it loses popularity, it goes off the front page anyways.

Badspot won't update/upgrade the forum I believe.

If he would, the stuffty emoticons would've been removed a long time ago I believe because of the stupid emote spammer, and for no "cohertly", (or however you spell it) use on them.
