japanese translations into english that make "all your bases are belong to us" sound like shakespere. i'm playing "legend of master N" and just found out every potion is called "portion" what the forget? and everyone talks like yoda AND i end up reading sentences that say "i was easy than i thought""okay. kill 10 mana worms and collect my scales for science for me""that will be easy as it sounds""what are waiting for? go collect mana scales, it easier than it will sounds" apparently i have to kill monsters and get mana scales from mana worms, it couldn't just say "get 10 mana scales for me""okay"
Sounds like the WoW blood elf start :o

Quests or adventures whose only point are to make the game longer (aka filler)

Actually, yes. He can learn self destruct too.

what was your first pokemon game, ruby? most people think 'electrode' or 'voltorb' when they think self-destruct

I don't know why you guys want to do away with CoD style health regeneration so much. Sure, it isn't realistic, but the alternative isn't fun.

"HURRR get shot once and double over in searing pain and wait for the remaining few minutes you have in your sorry ass life for a medic to come over and possibly do what he can before being shipped back to the states and undergoing several months of physical therapy."

1. Ignoring players.
2. Making modern combat games.
3. Good graphics, bad game. (no vise versa)
4. Dumb plots. (Your friend wants you to get a ring from some rich and powerfull guy who will crush you like the bug you are)
5. Blood and guts horror.
6. Making bad games.  :cookieMonster:

not all of them are bad
if they actually introduce something new and are not an expansion pack
Portal 2.

They should stop getting high before making a game. See: Dead Space Chapter 6.

Personal:

1. USING THE KEYBOARD TO PLAY THE GAME! IT'S SO ANNOYING!
2. USING THE MOUSE TO PLAY THE GAME! IT'S SO ANNOYING!
3. USING THE KEYBOARD & MOUSE TO PLAY THE GAME! IT'S SO ANNOYING!
4. Making games unplayable if no sound driver detected.

what about on the hardest difficulty there is a health bar and an occasional health pack

Damn, this thread exploded =D

I would have to say that first-person jumping mazes are one of the most annoying things, the jumping section under the bridge in HL2 killed me more than any other section.

uh no?

ive got more pokemon fainted by gravelers than by voltorbs/electrodes
