I hate it when people use vocabulary that isn't naturally used in common conversation unless it deems fit to do so. Such as in an essay or some other educational purpose.
That's ridiculous. I mean, it's different if someone is being pretentious, but I don't dumb down vocabulary in conversation. I don't search for large words, they just come fluidly.
