Author Topic: Google Sketch-Up?  (Read 480 times)

Is it possible to script and make add-ons using Google Sketch-Up? It's the only modling system that my Mac can handle as far as I know.
PLEASE do not say my computer stinks and get a new one.

yes it works, the problem is it cannot export to the correct format. you should ask this in General Modification Help and you'll be directed to the programs you need from someone who knows more about the subject than I.

YES, you can model with SketchUp. I have a Mac too. You model with SketchUp, script with TextEdit (a free utility that comes with every Mac just search your computer for it) and you need Blender for Mac. Once you are done modeling in sketchup, you export it so that you can bring it into Blender. TUTORIAL. Then, from Blender you export it as a .dts file.

Oh. I guess I do need Blender.
