Author Topic: Blockland isn't authenticating.  (Read 788 times)

My copy of Blockland hasn't been authenticating with the master server for the past three days.
It opens in offline mode, and doesn't try to authenticate.
I used to just try to change my name, which is how I made it authenticate when I first got this problem, and it worked.
But for the past three days, it hasn't been working, and it just sits there trying to authenticate until I close Blockland.

This is seriously taking too long.
I'm just going to try to re-install it.

The game cannot connect to the internet at all.  End of story.  Firewall or security software is blocking it.

Well that doesn't make any sense.
Let me see if I can fix that.

This is the only firewall//security program we have.

Is there anything else that would block the connection?

Still isn't authenticating.

Look at your console.txt, and see if blockland reports what is causing it to be unable to connect to the internet.

I decided to turn it from broadband to dial-up.
Holy loving stuff.
It worked what the forget.
