Author Topic: Should i buy Star trek: Online or Star Wraith?  (Read 3661 times)

Again, Im not really feeling it.
If you guys can find something like Star Trek: Online where you can land on planets and stuff, It would be appreciated.
I've yet to find a single space sim that lets you land on planets, And I've looked very hard for one.

I know of plenty that let you "land" at docks on planets., And a few that let you fly around the planet. But that's it.

I know of one that lets you fly around, but not land on the planet ( What i mean by thi is that you can dock at but not land land).
Also, when i meant land i meant something like this.

Oh yeah by the way, i have 50 dollars and 80 dollars worth of Gamestop gift cards

Text-2-speech The game, A.K.A Moonbase alpha it's free on steam. Boring without T2S though.

Noctis IV
Galaxy exploration game. Free

Pioneer
Remake of the old Elite / Privateer games. Planetary landings and crap. Alpha is available. Free

Parkan 2
Ship combat, planetary landings, exploring inside of own ship. I heard it's alright, but it seems to have some compatibility issues. 20 euros

Infinity: The Quest for Earth
MMO with realistic physics and a huge galaxy. Probably won't be released for a few years, though. There's a free combat prototype available.

Universal Combat
Space / Land / Air combat simulator. It's ridiculously complex and has terrible graphics, though. There's a free version that has no multiplayer. http://www.filefront.com/9367664/Universal-Combat-Full-Free-Game/

I might buy star wraith. (Hue hue)

however, i only played the demo and i had no real gameplay fun.

However, im also in between Star Trek: Online and Star wraith.
Topic name change.

isn't star wraith free?

and if you want a space combat simulator like freespace or wing commander, STO isn't like that at all.
