no im not going to read this
im sorry
and its not because of its length

I'm waiting for a ton of people to flow in and find loopholes in this.
If you can't move how did you type this though?

If my goal is to buy a car, and I buy the car, have I not completed my goal?

This is stupid. My goal: Pick up this soda can

OH stuff SON I DID IT

Guys, the fact that you can move and complete your goals makes you omnipotent.
But not really.
Try bending reality around you.

Didn't work?
I thought as much.

This isn't proof, it's just a theory. Life's full of contradictions, we're the master and the slave, etc. Deal with it.

i thought this said religion

This is stupid. My goal: Pick up this soda can

OH stuff SON I DID IT
You never accomplished it, reality is a lie

I thought of this kind of thing a long time ago.

Jesus christ.
I'll sum it up.

Doing anything is impossible. If you want to walk one mile, you first must walk a half-mile.
To do that, you must walk a quarter-mile.
And so on, and so on.

By that standard, moving is impossible.

However, you can move, right?
People can move.

Thus, my next point comes into play.

If you can overcome reality and do the impossible, you must be omnipotent.
But, you can't change reality.

But, there's the problem.
If you can move, you must be omnipotent.
You can't change reality, so you must NOT be omnipotent.

You can't have all the power in the world, and none at all in one instant.
Thus, reality is a lie.

Jesus christ.
I'll sum it up.

Doing anything is impossible. If you want to walk one mile, you first must walk a half-mile.
To do that, you must walk a quarter-mile.
And so on, and so on.
oh i see-
By that standard, moving is impossible.
what

-snip-
How about you kill yourself and stop making bullstuff that makes no sense. GOAL ACHIEVED

oh i see-what

Movement Is Not Even Possible

As if being unable to complete a single goal wasn't frustrating enough, things get worse: you can't even move.
Consider, if you will, the example of a child jumping.
For motion to occur, the child must change the position he occupies.

In any single instant, if the child is in motion, he must either move to where he is or move to where he is not.
The child cannot move to where he is, because he's already there.
Likewise, he cannot move to where he's not, because an instant is but a single temporal frame, not unlike a photograph.

Since movement is not possible in a single instant of time, movement is not possible in ANY instant of time.
Hence, it is physically impossible to advance even a single inch.
