Author Topic: Favorite Genre of Music?  (Read 4632 times)

I likez Classic rock, some metal, some alternative, motown, and some grunge.

Melodic (progressive) death metal.

i still listen to a lot of 90s punk/ska

The Beatles is classic rock for sure, Daft Punk is house/electronica(?), and 1940's music like Glenn Miller is big band.

The Cold War spans from 1947 to 1991, so music from the Cold War could be anything from CCR to Metallica to Iron Maiden to Jefferson Airplane.
I was mostly referring to the start of the cold war, now that I think about it. But really too many genres to define.

So that would still be Big Band and Rock and Roll.

Varying music from the 1900s and back, I don't really listen to any music from after 2000, except for maybe new songs from old bands or old style bands.
Lately I've been into classical music from video games, such as the entire soundtrack from Oblivion. I really enjoy Play!'s work.

Homestuck's music(no idea what the genre is, it varies with most of the songs) and video game soundtracks. My favorite genre would have to be 8-bit music or chiptune or whatever you want to call it. Trance is OK, and I also love Blue Oyster Cult, The Pixies, and Modest Mouse.
