Author Topic: Two suns in the sky by 2012  (Read 12871 times)

Didn't you loving read?
It said the second biggest star.
We don't know the limit to the universe (if there is one) so how can we possibly know which star is the biggest or second biggest if we can't see a lot of them?

Because we're humans, and like to think we're always right.

there should be 3 stars named betelgeuse

I bet its more likely that Venus will grow a snake and rape Urstar fish

When this happens, I will do epic and crazy things.

Q: Does the Mayan calendar end in December 2012?
A: Just as the calendar you have on your kitchen wall does not cease to exist after December 31, the Mayan calendar does not cease to exist on December 21, 2012. This date is the end of the Mayan long-count period but then -- just as your calendar begins again on January 1 -- another long-count period begins for the Mayan calendar.

I knew it

Oh, by the way, pronounced like Beetle juice.

This isn't going to be like two suns, just constant light like alaskan summers.
So, 70 degree weather? Alaskas weather isnt cold btw, just to inform you. Alaska is quite warm in the summers.

I don't think that had anything to do with the temperature.

Fake or not it would be a pretty awesome event. The coolest part about it would be that the star would have gone supernova 640 years ago.
Thing is, if it was real, would this star emit more UV light?
Making us go

"ERRRRGGHGHG HG IM MELTING"

This will be epic. DOUBLE SUN TIME. GO.

Well, most stereotypical people would say Alaska is cold. If it has to do with anything in Alaska the sun is shining and its warm.

well this will be fun.

But he didn't.

Aw...

Betelgeuse was my favorite. Remember The Hitchhiker's Guide? Too bad it died centuries ago.
