I really though today was worthy of a snow day so I made it one, there was like six inches in my driveway and if I didn't shovel before going to sleep last night it would have been more. I'm sure I'm not the only kid who decided not to go to school.

No 180 days is the required amount of days that a school has to be open and teaching, which is why when you get a cancellation they usually take days off of breaks or take days out of your summer vacation.

in new york we have tests that you don't have to pass but are required to go onto the next subject.

e.g. you have earth science, you pass and you get chem, but if you fail you take earth science again the next year.
