1. microevolution = adaptation. microevolution =/= small macroevolution
This limit is completely arbitrary. If a species adapts and then adapts again and then adapts again etc it WILL BE A DIFFERENT SPECIES.
2. God told people what to write in the bible, also, Mary could've written it down and somebody found it and added it to the Bible, or Joseph could've done it.
The simplest explanation is that people just wrote it, occam's razor.

I could also tell people that some wizard in my head told me to write a giant book of stories and rules, get a girl pregnant, and have her tell everyone she was a virgin. Wouldn't work now because it's 2011. If I did it over two-thousand years ago, I'd have my name in books and stuff too, people worshipping my work just because their ancestors believed a lie I created in order to strengthen my own religion. Which way back then, and even now, religion is a tool for power. The more people, the more power. The people obey because they fear a bad after-life.

The whole Big Bang thing seems dumb, from what I gather, the universe is expanding, yes, but I don't see anything that proves that it started out as a small particle.

Because it seems to me that, even if everything was all in one piece in the 'beginning', it would have to be the sum of everything put together at the smallest possible size. According to what I know, there's a point at which things cannot compress anymore.

And, when these things were compressed, what would cause them to expand? It seems like the gravity of all of these things together would be ridiculous. How could they expand, unless, all of these things had immense energy, which would hint that they had come back together after expanding previously. Then I would wonder, what made them move in the first place, and you'd think that they would eventually balance out and pretty much stop moving.

Nevermind, no energy could be lost because all of it would come back when the universe re-compacted. All of the counter-gravity energy would come back to re-counter it.
