Arguing against evolution is like wearing a giant sign on your back that reads "ignorant".
Evolution is scientific fact.
if you don't believe in evolution, you are truly mentally disabled.
science is fact
Evolution is completely proven

Any scientific "law" can be proven false with enough quality counterexamples, no matter how much it is accepted by scientists. This includes evolution.

"Science is not done by majority rule; it is done by experiment."

I wonder if the people saying its just a theory realize that gravity is just a theory too.
Do you mean Einstein's theory of relativity, or the graviton theory? Either could be false (but both can't be true; they are mutually exclusive). If science is always "moving ahead", incorrect theories have to be eliminated, no matter how big their following is or how "mentally disabled" its opponents are.

How did absolutely nothing become something?
There was a small piece of matter, smaller than the smallest part of an atom, that probably went unstable and exploded, which created everything we see today. In time, of course.
Where did that small piece of matter come from?

Any scientific "law" can be proven false with enough quality counterexamples, no matter how much it is accepted by scientists. This includes evolution.
But why would you do that in the first place?
Also, I'm not sure how you're justifying this.
Give an example.

Exactly. There have been experiments proving evolution since the dawn of man.

How exactly would you propose to make an experiment for it?

I hear building time machines is a nifty project to take on.

There have already been experiments which practically prove evolution. These experiments are done with minimal human intervention, just choosing what mates with what. Animals do that on their own.

Still, I don't think we have any records of man making evolution-experiments at the 'dawn of man', particularly.
:cookieMonster:

Thought you were being sarcastic there.

Anyway, cool.

Domestication of animals. Breeding dogs. There are plenty of records.

That's microevolution; minor changes. You're not going from a dog to hippo or a bird to a weasel, you're going from a cat to a cat (example of a civilized animal). And a dog to a dog.

The evolution you're trying to prove is macroevolution.

But why would you do that in the first place?

Aristotle taught that an object at rest will stay at rest until acted upon by an outside force. He didn't think that an object in motion will stay in motion until acted upon by an outside force. This stemmed from his misunderstanding of friction and gravity.

For a long time, Aristotle's writing were treasured. Everyone thought they were fact (a lot of things he wrote were right, but he got some things wrong). Anyone who didn't agree with them was probably considered "mentally disabled".

Then Newton came along. He figured out how friction and gravity worked quite well, and came to this conclusion (known as Newton's first law of motion):
An object in motion (or at rest) will tend to stay in motion (or at rest) until acted upon by an outside force.

Nobody actually paid any attention to Newton's writings until later, when they found it was right.

tl;dr: Newton had his take on motion, but it was half wrong. Regardless, it was considered law. Then Newton came along and made up his three laws of motion. These are still considered law.

why would a dog turn into a hippo

that seems more like an update to the scientific consensus to me
sorry if im a bit insufferable today im sleepy as forget

Jesus loving christ I can't believe there is still an argument on this. We can literally see evolution take place throughout the millions of years, fossils showing subtle changes. Even in the Galapagos we can see birds go through a natural selection process in a few months.

I don't care how full your head is of Catholic stuff that your mothers and fathers force-fed to keep your "souls" pure and your path away from evil, evolution is an accepted theory by the scientific community.

Christcigarettes will never give up. Just learn to accept that.

scientific community.
forget the scientific community!
