Wouldn't it be cool if fake-killed bricks could hurt you? Say your in a TDM and someone blows up your base! Shouldn't the falling bricks hurt you? It would make it so that shrapnel is deadly and a falling I-beam could kill you. It could work that if a fake-killed brick hits you at a hi enough velocity it would do damage depending on how fast it was moving! Fake-killed bricks already can bounce off of a player, it wouldn't be that hard to script so that they can kill you, would it?

Physics are done through the client, which would mean that this script would work (if at all) with only you.

Above is correct.

Also, torque's collision cannot handle these functions very well. It's hard enough to keep vehicles from going through bricks.

Oh, that sucks. But can it be made just to see if it works?

This would require Badspot to do it.

On the other hand, we could have bricks break up into projectiles that bounce and fall and deal damage, but too many would lag, and there would be other minor logistics issues. Special bricks that do this would certainly be possible, though, and making all bricks break into debris would be possible if done in moderation (i.e there's a random chance, or only if it takes x damage, or whatever).

Could the script color a projectile accordingly or would you have to include all of the different colored projectiles in the file?
