What are your views on the game?

Good or bad? Fun or Boring?

I personally think that the game is great.

First, you start out as an average scientist at Black Mesa Research Facility, who is sadly late for work. Then you are told that you are the poor soul who has to preform the experiment on the unknown isotope. In a terrible flash, the experiment goes absolutely insane, killing several of your closest workers, sending you in a tailspin though time and space. Waking up you notice that almost everything is destroyed, hundreds are dead, and strange creatures appear from nowhere right in front of your eyes. Soon you snatch up a crowbar and begin your journey to the surface to find help. Battles begin and end with every striking blow you deliver with the mighty crowbar. Deeper and deeper, you dive into the real happenings at Black Mesa. Finding secrets and places only few know. The Facility is soon joined by the Marines, in an effort to silence all who were associated with the project, making you enemy #1. This is heartbreaking news, because you have just reached the surface and must now descend back into the hell you just left. More aliens pour into Black Mesa's shell, how do you stop them? By teleporting to Xen, the alien's home world, and murdering their leader. Once this was achieved, a strange man plucks you from reality, and places you into suspended animation, until you are needed again.

That was the first game in a nutshell. Great plot line filled with suspense and fear. That kind of game that no other game after could quite achieve.

So what do you think about Half-Life?

never played
not planning to

I like the story line, and how the game has no cut scenes. You are always controlling him. I like that.

Half Life 2

Yes, the Half Life series is one of the best. Personally I was impressed by the different physics puzzles.

I like the graphics for Half life even though its old.

It's like Minecraft.

I'll buy it eventually if i can find a no blood and gore mod

i thought it was a decent game when i first played hl1 in 2000 or 2001, but not that great, felt really simple

granted all my previous games were simulators of some form

something bad happens, you do stuff to stop it, the end lol

someone wana gift me halflife?

It's boring because it's just a bunch of puzzles trying to tie together to an extremely easy FPS (seriously, enemies aren't even hard to kill. Just because you add an extra 20 dumb cop people that stand still and shot at you doesn't make it much harder)

It's like Minecraft.
Minecraft is intentionally ugly in its own fancy way.
