I love that trilogy! And yes, it's 88 mph. Don't forget to model the Flux Capacitor (Mr. Fusion would be cool as well)! Also, think you could make it a flying vehicle? It'd be especially cool if it could drive, and with the push of a key on your keyboard, the wheels fold, and it "let's go" of the ground, and uses the hover conversion. Also, please be sure to check the underside. In the movies, they had about 6 (as I recall) different DeLoreans they worked with. One of them had 3 pairs (for 6 total) lights in the middle, but most of them had 4 pairs (for a total of 8). The model I bought from Universal Studios has the 8 light setup underneath. Also, the wheels lit up when in hover mode (though, only on the inside of the tire. As in, the hubcap area)(Also, there were lights [2, as I recall] around the wheels, on the underside as well).
Seriously, I *LOVE* that car. I bought a season pass to Universal studios just so I could see that car any time I wanted. Need photos? I've got a lot. You can also check out
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMC-12 or
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back_to_the_Future_trilogy for some useful info (if you haven't already). I'd be more than happy to help with this in anyway I can!

(I'm a Nintendo fan, so this is a good thing)

! I look forward to your work.
One last thing. I built a DeLorean out of LEGOs in LDraw years ago. I can send you the DAT file, if you want. It's even got folding wheels (no disassembly required...). I doubt it'd be useful, but I just thought I'd make the offer. Mouser X over and awaiting reply.
