(facepalm) that's WHAT WERE DOING YOU IDIOT!

Update Fifteen: October 1907

The speed of growth has rose quickly. Within seven years, we have turned a sleepy village into a prosperous manufacturing town. San Ramon has gone from 500 residents to 6050, and we have just begun to scratch the town's business opportunities. This is just the beginning, the farther we go, the faster it will become.

Looking down the valley at San Ramon.

A Large residential neighborhood has been filled with new families looking for work and safety. Many come from San Francisco in the aftermath of the earthquake.

The new neighborhoods have crowded against these factories, we should move them to a new location for clean growth. A new business area would be perfect at this location.

We should also move our Steel Foundry, it is blocking expansion North. Of course, our Head Quarters will be upgraded.

The Proposal

Today we are choosing the new location for the factories and our Steel Foundry. Along with moving existing factories, we should build some new ones. The most promising location is around the Processing Plant and on the other side of the Despues River. The option by the river will come with a station and cargo area.

(Please note that the old factories marked on the map will be demolished once new ones are built)

Choose between Purple, Blue, and Orange. As stated, Orange comes with a station.

You guys have a day. :3

Purple. The factories should be spread out a little bit.

Orange, Plenty of space and there's also a station for easy transport.

Orange more space, station, and can you "explore" a bit for more land?

Orange, it would be able to transport the materials faster since the others are far away

The thing is, it's the same with purple. There's road links to the city and then out as well as a train link with it's own industrial station depot. It has pretty much the same sort of options for movement. Also, if orange was to be the option then the main proportion of production would be cut off. Wasn't the idea of this proposal to set up a kind of "Industrial Zone"?

Housing - Farms
Yellow    - Blue

Yellow housing is near the other homes, and has a bit more space.
Blue farms are close to the other farms and not too close to the city.

Purple; It would work on areas we have tampered with already. Keeping one district industrial will help consolidate all the factories and make the town a nicer, cleaner environment. The lot across the river is best kept for either residential or retail expansion, not industrial. c:

Sorry guys, no update today. You get one more day for voting.

And it's away from the towns so nobody has to smell that industrial smell.
