you know like gears of war or splinter cell conviction. it would be useful for DM/TDM and base infiltration. pretty much like you press a button and you lean against a wall

To state your request in an intelligent way, a player could detect when they are very close to cover, and go through an animation to hide up against it.  This is interesting, but you can already crouch and stuff in blockland, and player-brick collision is already glitchy enough.

more from a button press but yeah like that but instead you would have to press like the Y button OR P button to go into a crouch/stand position "on the wall"

update: all i need is someone to script this or a link to somethin simalir to it

if you want the y button or p button to do this, it will require serversided an clientsided scripting, instead of having the light function do this or something similar
and to the you needing it scripted, isn't that implied by posting this here? and yes, that would be all you would need, as there is nothing else to it, yet it seems rather useless

This has as much to do with modeling as it does with scripting.  Somone needs to make a playertype with a "cover" animation.  That requires modeling.

modeling would be for making a playertype, you can call animations i think with a script, which are premade

well i have never used blender before

DOUBLE TOAST

can someone post a link to blender for me
