The Translocator

(Although i'd prefer the ut2004 model.)
What does it do?
  • Does what it says on the tin. Transmits you to a new location. A teleporter basically.
  • Left click to place the beacon, right click to be teleported there instantly.
  • Shooting the beacon, or launching it into an area that causes damage to the player would damage the translocator beacon.
  • Using the damaged beacon (though the player will most likely not know it's damaged.) is a very silly idea indeed. There will be blood.
  • Telefrags. Launch a beacon under someone's feet and if you're quick you can teleport to it, killing the other person. Kinda like what happens above, but you don't die.
  • Maintains velocity. That means that if you try and save yourself if you fall off a building, it wont be any good, but you can pull off some good stunts with the Translocator, as well as get some distance as shown by this image.

I can model this thing, but I have no idea on how to rig in blender. But I could provide sounds though.
Your thoughts on the idea?

I wanted to suggest this for a loong time.
Glad you did it, because i kept forgetting.

FFFFFFUUUUUUU-

This was also good for getting out of sticky situations. Do want.

I remember using the Translocator to fly up the pyramids in Face 3 on Unreal Tournament 2003

This is a good idea. It could used by moving the player really really fast to the beacon spot so it can't be used to go through bricks and walls.
Just a suggestion, don't go batstuff crazy

Portal Gun, modified textures.
Who needs to right-click when you can just walk through it?

UT2004 is an EPIC WIN GAME. I approve of this. While we're at it, why not make the assault rifle, the plasma rifle, or the shield gun (Could turn into a modified Deflector Gun)?

We already made a flak cannon too, so no problem with others.

I haven't seen that in a while.

You've got the wrong idea.
