Herobrine has no hyper realism, the Haunted Majora's Mask doesn't have hyper realism, Pokemon Black and Pokemon Lost Silver don't have hyper realism, yet they're creepy
The thought of people constantly using hyper realism to scare people just means that it is the only way to scare people, it just seems lame to me because hyper realism with games like Pokemon Snap for example in the Creepypasta 'Pokemon Death Snap', it's the Nintendo 64, why and how would realistic stuff be happening on there unless it's just an image, i know these stories are fake, but i still don't like the idea of using hyper realism, it goes outside of the games graphical boundaries and partially ruins the story for me
