No child enthusiast joke here, but the Catholic Church has all kinds of backwards beliefs, note how women are not allowed positions anywhere in the official church, catholism has always been loveist, and I don't think they ever officially said they weren't.

However you can easily and logically come to the conclusion that any god there may be is not omnipotent, nor do they give a stuff about earth or its inhabitants, praying is futile, and any god must have a creator or was created via some other means. So even if a god does exist, they are not much of a god.
