I never said I had no sympathy for Atheists, simply that I find no point in trying to argue with them. YOu are putting words in my mouth. I am simply trying to get across that I take this from a religious standpoint. You take this as mind over matter. In which case, neither side will win. This is my opinion, do not take it personally.

God gave us life, and all life starts at conception. Mary, Mother of God was not with tissue; she was with child. To say that when the sperm and egg unite, life does not form, is to say all of us are robots, for we came from that sperm; inheriting the father's genes, and the egg; our mother's. To say that does not start life is a sin within itself. But to destroy that life-- that creation of God, to take and deliberately DESTROY what the Lord Our God gave us, is a sin. It is one of the greatest sins of all. Not only are you killing a human, but a human CHILD, one who will never see the light of day, who will never know what it is like to take its first step. In fact, it could have changed the world, but you decided to get rid of it because you were to lazy to use protection. I do not want to get into the "condom or no condom" debate yet, but I have plenty more to say on that. So, basically, not only is it sik, wrong, and absolutely disgusting, it is also self-centered, selfish, and rude. Your parents didn't choose abortion, why should you?

Yet Christianity has gone to war and killed countless numbers of people throughout history, claiming that they were doing so in the name of God. How contradicting. God and religion have no place in this matter.

How is it selfish or self-centered to have an abortion? It is someones body and they can do with it what they want. Do you want people dictating what you are allowed to do with your own body?

Look at your last point. You used a critical keyword in this entire debate: choose. Your parents chose to have you, even if they may or may not have chosen to conceive you. That choice should be everyones to make.
