.880 Special
(Revolver)
-33% Clip Size
-20% Fire Rate

+50% Damage

Laser Watch
(Watch)
Hold secondary fire to use. Spy puts current weapon away and presses a button on his watch that fires a laser that increases in damage exponentially as it stays on a target (i.e. minimum DPS is 10 at 1 second on target, max DPS is 40 at 4 seconds). Haven't settled on exact damage yet, but it would falloff pretty quickly.
Cannot Cloak
+25% Recharge Time
Cannot Recharge at Dispensers

Filet de Français
(Rapier)
Cannot insta-kill on backstab
Cannot Disguise

+25% Damage
Mini-Crits on Backstab

Set Bonus: +25 HP

Also I'm not sure how well this would be implemented, but I'd like the .880 to replace the sapper with a detpack or something.

This topic would be better suited to....you know the actual TF2 Forum.
didn't read top bit, anyway it ok. I would like to see another class get a weapon set though.

I'm sorry doc but this sounds stupid in general. The revolver sounds okay though, but the name could use some work.

The watch in general is stupid because it removes the second prime factor of the spy, turning invisible.

The rapier in general would be useless and remove the first prime factor of the spy, backstabbing, to take down heavy classes that couldn't normally be defeated by a full frontal attack.

I wouldn't mind the .880 special, everything else sounds very useless, invisibility gives the spy his edge, taking it away is like being an engineer with a revolver.

Rapier also sounds pretty stupid seeing that if a spy cannot backstab, almost all classes will kill him, he would be better off just using the .880.

oh god i've made .880 a meme

I thought of an excellent weapon for the spy, it's a replacement for the watch. It allows you to see outlines of enemy players within a range of the spy, through walls. It drains cloak just as fast as the invisibility watch if not 50% slower, it works just as if it were an invisibility watch forcing you to be defenseless while arming it.

Effects of this weapon:
The GPS
Player Detection
Cannot Cloak
-50% Bullet Vulnerability on wearer
+50% Fire Vulnerability on wearer
+200% Cloak Regeneration
+25 HP

Edit: I want to reconfigure this idea

Sounds a bit UP, Nature.

Yeah that was the entire point. Think of this as a sub-class.

I thought .880 was the caliber of the Ambassador?

Cannot Cloak
+200% Cloak Regeneration
what

I've always wanted to see a modern spy, with something like a Deagle that has
8 boolets
-15% damage
ect.

I called it cloak regeneration so people know what I'm talking about. You won't really cloak but it uses a battery that acts like cloak while in use.

Spy already is. Why not make it fun to play?

No it's not. The spy is a support class, meant to aid the primary offense/defense by eliminating high-value targets like heavy-medic combos, snipers, and engi nests.

Hoo boy, it's been a while since I've seen a spy do anything other than what's in bold.
