I have had to use my personal laptop at school before. It was nice to be able to use my own instead of the schools.

My school has laptop CARTS that the classrooms share. My classroom has to share the cart with a 5th grade room.

LOL my brother goes to a stuff highschool and his school gave him a crappy old macbook.

Also the teachers get black macbooks, while the ones in the carts are white. Lol and the principal gets a Macbook Pro.

We have laptop carts too. Except we get a bunch of dumbasses who think it's funny to unplug cables.

Our tech people are not stupid. Right now our school is beta testing Windows Multipoint 2011.

We also got laptops donated to the honors English class from the FBI.
