Well, yeah.
The rest of the L4D1 campaigns, and a new community map.
Comes out after Portal 2, so basically in a year or so valve time.

They should just stop selling L4D1.
I mean all the campaigns are going to be in L4D2 now so what's the point.

Only reason I like is to spawn gnome in it :3 and I really want to test out some parts of Dead air to see if the glitches work like in No mercy

I wish to know the difference between:
L4D1: Person able to carry two long range weapons and can melee the stuff out of everything with said long range weapons.
L4D2: Person can only melee efficiently with a melee weapon, and thus can only carry one ranged weapon. However doing more damage.

To me it seems like the melee is better in the first one. How would L4D1 somehow benefit this "people dont want melee" demand when you can pretty well meleerape any zombie and special infected other than the tank?

Because melee bashing is used for pushing enemies away and is barely effective at killing when you're being raped by forgeteverything unless you're playing on Easy or something.
Not to mention it's nerfed on everything but L4D1's Co-op mode.

Um. I think you missed the part where I said you also have two long ranged weapons. You're not just supposed to spam melee.

You missed the part where we were talking about melee.
You can have two long ranged weapons in L4D2 but a lot of people choose not to.
