I know theres some LoL topics on here already. But I wanted to make a better one.

What is League of Legends?
League of Legends is the "spawn" game of DotA
In case you're not famillular with DotA, DotA was a mod for the RTS Warcraft 3.

In DotA, players controlled a hero, or a champion in this case, that they would order around.
In LoL and Dota alike, the game is setup in a 3 lane format. You team's base is adjacent from the other, and you have to defend each lane from the other team's advances.

Gameplay


Each team has 5 players. 5v5
Your job is to defend your lane from the opposing champion.

ok so you're new to the whole DotA scheme.
These videos should get you familiarized with how the game is played.

Well it's a free to play game.
Completely free, and you can enjoy it without paying a dime.

The only things you can buy with money are vanity skins for the champions you play.
