Wipeout
The first one. based in 2050ish. had weapons but they just slowed you down. The teams were:
FEISAR, Auricom, Quirex, AG-Systems. have not played.
Wipeout 2097
Second one. Based in 2097(WELL HURR.) Weapons and sheilds appear, and checkpoints too. (checkpoints do not appear in fusion onwards).

Wipeout 64
I don't know much about this one 'cause i didnt have a 64. had the same teams (EXACTLY, logos and all) as 2097, with some new tracks. had similar checkpoint gates as 2097. feel free to PM me more info.
Wip3out
The third. based in 2119? Three teams are added, along with the last 5:Icaras,GOTEKI-45 and assegai. The best one. Godlike soundtrack.
Wipeout fusion
Based in 2156. an EXPLOSION of teams and weapons. most of the teams dont return. they are: FEISAR, Van-uber, G-tech, tigron(returns in pure as DLC), EG-R, XIOS, (egr and xios return as EG-X in pulse)auricom, pirhana.
Zone mode introduced, and becomes a crowd favourite.
Wipeout pure
fith. canoically, the AG-league was shut down because of match fixing or something, and it returns in this. based in mankana, FX300 is underway. The teams are: FEISAR, Assegai, harimau(new appearance), AG-sys, pirhana, auricom, triakis(new appearance),Quirex,Zone(gold all zone tracks),medevil(Earn 80 gold medals.). Goteki 45, icaras, puma, tigron and van-uber are DLC.
Wipeout pulse
based after pure. worldwide, the FX-400 league flys by. lineup is the same, but:
harimau, icaras, mirage(new) and auricom are DLC. goteki is a stock craft. custom skins for ships.
Wipeout:HD
most recent. based inbetween pure and pulse. canocially, FX-350 is a proving ground and is made up of tracks from both games. everyone from the last game, pulse, is stock craft. zone mode is loads better. this one is for ps3, hence the thread tag. also has an expansion called fury, adding loads of the old tracks, zone race and detonator. also puts eliminator back in HD.
