Although I think free health-care would be a good idea, if you don't that is understandable.Perhaps talk about how it uses too much tax money, then talk about what that money could be used for instead.Be prepared for the smart liberal in your class to say "we should just take the troops out of the middle east and use the money we save from that to fund it." Reply with something about terrorism if this should happen.
You could do some form of comparison in the intro, like a hypothetical situation where one of the people listening has to get treatment, but they get delayed/get stuck with rusty needles because a meth head had to be DTed.
