Author Topic: World Of Warcraft-A bit of a disappointment  (Read 2769 times)

I got up to level 10 on World Of Warcraft with my mage, and to me it really isn't that good...how on earth did it become one of the most popular online games ever made?!

I just wanna know if someone who likes the game will friend me. My mage is an elf name Sehktath and my warrior is a human named NhuckCorris. ( :cookieMonster: ) I'm hoping that if I hang out with someone who likes the game, it'll catch on to me.

So if I should post this in a World Of Warcraft thread (I couldn't find it) please LIGHTLY tell me to post it there and I will lock this thread.

Discuss.

I would say you deserve a massive facepalm, but I can see the obvious sarcasm in there. =/

Well at level 10 you've experienced all of the features WoW has to offer, if you haven't liked it after all the raiding you did at level 8, all the 40vs40 PVP you did at level 5, and flying around azeroth on an epic dragon at level 9, you will probably never like it.

get to level 15, and do dungeons, they you will see how it is so popular

I never did any of those? I might have done raiding, idk what you mean by that.

You're telling me in that 1 hour it took you to get level 10 you didn't do all that?

It took me longer than an hour to reach level 10. I'm a slow worked at MMORPGHs. That's how you spell it, right?

No, I just did a bunch of random quests.

I'm laughig my ass off right now.

Whatever? This means I have a life and don't spend my life in front of a screen.

The thing is, is that he's joking. You have so much to experience. The fact that your going, THIS SUCKS after just reaching lvl 10 shows that your attention span is really small.

I'm going to post this here so I don't stuffpost in the WoW thread.

I played WoW with a friend a few days ago, figured I'd give it another try since all of my friends are getting into it, and it was boring. There was nothing about the gameplay that was even remotely fun, there was no immersiveness, and the gameplay is lacking, almost nonexistent. The graphics are just hideous, the game was made in 2004, and has done well until now, but not well enough to upgrade from the graphical standards of the goddamn N64? Anyway, there's not much to complain about really. I exaggerate quite a bit in my critique of WoW, but really it just boils down to "the game is ridiculously boring". In all honesty, I can't even begin to understand how this game is the 'greatest mmo of all time'.

What's more annoying is all of my friends are talking about it, constantly, so instead of us getting together to play some good games and have fun, most of them are off playing WoW, and trying to convince me it's "a great game". This is equal to trying to talk about how good Justin Bieber is and to come listen to his music, just so you understand my pain and frustration.

I can't run it on my computer. I can completely tell.
