Minecraft Won't Work

So, I have a Intel Extreme Graphics card (insert brickybob's avatar here)
I can't replace it at the moment.

So, I went to go play Minecraft, but when I start, I get a BAD VIDEO CARD (Or something like that) error. It has something to do with OpenGL and Intel's lack of good support for it. So, If I updated my drivers, some games would stop working. I can't do that. So, is there any way to resolve that issue?

Why would they stop working? If anything updating your drivers should help your games.

If it's an extreme graphics card, you would think it has the graphics for it. But I think if it's newer technology and Minecraft is older technology, it won't work properly.

Does the message appear when you click "Play this world"? If so, try setting the lighting "Smooth" to "OFF". That might be the issue.

Are you trying the Browser or the Downloaded version?

My old graphics card couldn't run the Downloaded, but could run Browser version of Minecraft.

The new lighting in Minecraft may mess things up, either wait for a fix or find a way to turn it off outside of the game.

The new Lighting lags my game (Quite a Bit), and yet I still run better Lighting on other games.
