For the former, I'd have to say Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2. Latter is a tie between Deus Ex and Metroid Prime 1

Final Fantasy: Crystal Bearers had pretty good music. :o

Not a HUGE fan of the game, it was okay.

I think Hans Zimmer did an absolutely fantastic job on MW2's soundtrack, and Martin O'Donnel did a great job with Halo's music over the years.

Wet had a great soundtrack too.

Either. Notice how Gauntlet has it's own songs but SSX has real songs.

Anyways listening to Gauntlet's soundtrack brings tears to my eyes. Tear. Not plural, Real men don't do plurals.

I always liked Valve's, especially L4D and L4D2. Portal 2's is sounding good so far.
And although I haven't played it; Scott Pilgrim vs the World's game has awesome 8bit music.
Minecraft too.

I really did not like SSBB's soundtrack at all. I guess it's just me growing up, but Nintendo's music just doesn't do it for me. I mean the Legend of Zelda theme is fantastic, but I don't find myself enjoying Koji's music anymore.
