When you start, focus on getting motels, apartments, suburbs, farms and labs. Get enough of those and you should have a decent defense. When expanding, focus on one square at a time, always keep people on defense. Focus on soldiers, builders and scientists.

This game was pretty easy. By the end I was so overpowered I didn't know what to do with all my soldiers, I had a defense of 800 and that's without everyone on defense.

Really fun. I feel it doesn't give off much horror, but more strain. More emotion that really toughens you up and builds up your leadership skills. And adults say games are bad for you?
