I believe I have a virus

at random times my mouse would unselect what its doing and it opens up ads
any help?

Malywarebytes.
Then SuperAntiSpyware.
Then adaware.

If all else fails, reformat and install ubuntu.

Check processes of Task Manager. It should see if there's a program thats not supposed to be running.

You will have better luck scanning in safe mode. Sometimes viruses hide themselves with drivers that will be disabled in safe mode.

Malywarebytes first. That's what most anti-virus forums recommend and i've always had good luck with it.
