I find it a bit unnecessary in some cases I've been here more than 2 years and it took me more than 4 hours of rooting through 3 emails that could possibly have the key in it before i found it and was able to link my accounts. It just feels... wrong...

Why didn't you just goto the key recovery and type in your e-mails till it said a key has been sent to the e-mail?
Or if you don't want to do that, most if not all e-mail services have a search feature, which you could've just searched for "Blockland Key".

It actually isn't that hard to memorize the key, I don't have it written down anywhere and I don't even have the email anymore, I just remember it perfectly.
