Author Topic: "Snow" in the northwest.  (Read 1124 times)

My school district was closed today because it was forecasted that there was to be snow. I'm glad I got the day off school, but it was seriously a dumb closure. There was literally no snow anywhere today, it was just really wet. Just look up weather forecasts for 98040 and you'll see what I mean. At least our part of the country is finally getting some snow, the east coast has been hogging it all.

Discuss snow closure :| I guess...idk I'm bored there's no school.

lol i forgot how many days can be lost in a school year before they can extend it into the summer those missing days :p

I was supposed to start snowing like crazy at 6 pm.
It is 8 pm.
No snow.
RAAAGGGGEEEEEEE

Well, we have built in snow days during the school year. We used a couple in November when we had a freak storm totally at random and we missed a couple days.

You see, instead of tagging on to the end of the year, we just have designated three day weekends that get canceled depending on how many snow days there are. Better than going to school until july.

I live in Los Angeles. forget you. D:

@Daed I'd rather be in L.A. right now actually. Ooh let's trade!

@Max noice. I'd get a pic but it's not that exciting to see.

What state you live in?

I'm on mercer island, in Washington state.

Snow is usually nothing. Now ice is where things can actually get dangerous.
