It's not like you know what the Big Bang is, anyway.
So you believe in science?Pfft
Wow.Yeah, to hell with all of the scientific advancements humanity has ever made, like computers, the internet, rocket science, physics, chemistry, medical advancements that save lives, the science that went into synthesizing the shirt that you're wearing, the science of your atomic structure, molecular makeup, and cellular being, Astronomy, nuclear fission, and geneology, oh and pfffft who cares about forensic science, which helps catch criminals and prove them guilty through the use of deductive reasoning and laboratories. Oh yeah, and forget convenient inventions like air conditioning, air filters, glass, shatterproof glass, tempered glass, the LED, records, CD's, tape, birth control, the USB, flash drives, microphones, instruments, and shoes. Everything was better when everyone just believed in god! Like the public stonings that took place because someone said something blasphemous, or burning people at the stake for being eccentric, or hey, what about the Crusades? I love me a large army comprised of religious Christian zealots storming through the middle east, raping and killing and murdering other human beings simply because they didn't share the same view, to take back a fictitious "holy land". Theocracy was a good institution and totally didn't result in the unjust death of innocent people. Everything is better when everyone believes in god and not logic or science!
Holy stuff you're loving stupid.
Oh, and he's not wrong. You can disprove the existence of Hell based on your perception of "God". If your god is all-loving and omnipotent, it wouldn't create a place of eternal anguish, damnation, and pain. On the inverse, if your god did do that, then it is angry, vengeful, judgmental and emotional -- and therefore not a god.
The Heaven/Hell system is a story conceived purely in the name of fearmongering. It's an outdated reward/punishment system that is supposed to scare people into following the tenants of the religion's religious text, while also promising a reward. You can equate this to the fear of your parents. You clean your room, you get a cookie (Heaven). You don't, you get yelled at and grounded (Hell). Unfortunately, society isn't so black and white, and the system doesn't really work. People still will be "bad" and will justify their actions to support their opinion (example being The Crusades, where the Bishops and Clergymen promised it was in the name of God and therefore none of it was sinful [this is addressed in Dante's Inferno, in a quote from when Dante encounters Lucifer; Dante: "But the Bishop assured us!", Lucifer: "And you believed him?"])
