Also, I thought that the world was really spaced out, how did someone manage to attack you when the universe in that game is huge.

it loads slowly but its worth it
however if nothing ever loads and everythings brown with only brown low quality roof render models showing then you need to update your graphics drivers once

This game is confusing,

First, I ended up joining some other empire because it was impossible to join the blocklanders

Second, even though i got past character creation, i couldn't find a design studio to make a spaceship in...

...this game would be a lot better if there were instructions on how to find a design studio.

Well when I open it and start my character, I see a loading screen (some kind of laser, galaxies going in a spiral)
then when it it done my character spawns, but there is no ground. I can see leaves, people, rocks, but no ground.

You don't just join an empire and then right off the bat make a spaceship and fly off to wherever.

Also Blocklanders now have small shuttle craft that can dock and land on the space station.

Took me hours to design but all good.

We have TL2 grav drives, TL4 metals, TL2 Electronics TL4 plastics TL2 compooters TL5 air
so we are somewhat near TL3
