Gray skull, sounds like a character from a movie.

I've heard that they sometimes make it grayscale to hide imperfections in color.

also it grants +3 artsy

Oh dear, if only I knew the difference. ;~;

I think it's just to create a fitting mood for their character.

I didn't realize "old" was a "character mood".

So ugly people do it to make them look nicer?

I never do grey-scale pictures.

Old or not it's still their style and opinion and shouldn't be bashed.

if the photo is of their face, converting color images to grayscale can easily cover up blemishes, zits, et cetera, or make it more easy to cover them up with a simple editing program.

Most of the people are just hipster friends.

The reason I take photographs in black and white are because they are easier to take.

I've done it with MsPaint.
Of course it takes a lot of time and you have to do it to every individual pixel, but it works.

Because they're either hipsters or emos. Either way they're stupid.

Congrats Sirrus, you are now cool and artsy.
That actually looks kinda cool :o

Maybe their Monochromiphiles.
