New YouTube Layout..

I know this is incredibly late, but after they released that stuffty forced homepage update, I have lost faith in watching my videos for some reason.
Normally, when I saw a new video, I would click it immediately. Now, I see a new video and something about the update makes me just "meh" it off and I go on the forums. It's getting annoying because I remember I used to love those videos and despite how much I feel I should watch them I don't, and when I do it's unenjoyable. I watch for a few seconds and then quit.
I don't know, but something about youtube (which seems to be the layout) is annoying me.

Actually, lots of people left youtube because of this one if I remember.
It's like youtube gives you a cool toy and you're like "WOW YAY :D" and then they paint it green with polka dots one day then they rip off it's arms and then you have some piece of stuff. You can't ask for a new one, because beggars be not choosers.

I'm trying, I'm trying, but I can't get into videos anymore. It may or may not be the layout, but ever since said layout came out I've been like this. I don't think it's a coincidence, unless videos got increasingly stufftier at the same time of the layout change.

I don't really give two stuffs about how Youtube chooses to display their content and my subscriptions and stuff as long as I can type something into a search bar, return videos related to the thing I typed, and I can then click on that looks appealing and relevant and then watch it.

I've never been one of those people who truly cares for subscriptions, or has to watch everything and gets addicted to it, or uses it all the time.
I like YouTube because it allows for the free-hosting of videos for anyone to see online.
I'd only ever use it if I've either been linked something by a friend, or I'm searching for something specific.
All the website needs to please me is the ability to view the videos I want to.

I can't even remember what the old YouTube looked like.
