Author Topic: Helicopter w/ animated crash  (Read 1254 times)

I would like a helicopter that has certain areas that when hit with projectiles, it crashes to the ground in a certain way.

Location hit          Hit With          What Happens
tail                       bullet              -1 health per bullet
tail                       rocket             -90 health, spins out of control to the ground slowly
body                     bullet              -2 health per bullet
body                     rocket             -80 health, falls to the ground slowly, then explodes
top propeller           bullet              -1 health per bullet
top propeller           rocket             -90 health, falls to the ground rapidly, then explodes

health = 100

fuel = 300
fuel usage per sec. = 0.5


I would like this to be an editted version of the blackhawk heli but with:
-miniguns at the 2 windows, 1 on each side
-ropes coming down from the doors on sides to repel down


Controls  (how i would like them)

W - fly forward
S - fly backward
A - fly left
D - fly right
mouse - turn and look up and down
space bar - lift up
left control - go down
page up - turn on engine
page down - turn off engine
left click - open doors on sides and let down ropes / close doors and pull up ropes (toggle)

I know. You need the same part of script with the exploding truck.


can't do without a client sided mod, as the keybinds you couldn't be sure of


what about the sky crane? it had a keybind to pick up vehicles...

May be possible, unless of course you can't have more than 1 collision box.

the only doable thing here is the "helicopter that flies" part.


I don't so much know of the engine on and off.
Plus, you only need 1 mini gun or whatever.
No ropes needed.
Space can go up, while shift down?
Doors are fine.
Exept, O = Right door opens
P = Left door opens.
K or L = Minigun side.
