Too many bricks on the clan server.
YOU SHOULD JUST DELELETE THAT BIG TALL BUILDING IN THE FRONT

If there's too many bricks on the main clan server for you to get in without lagging, how do you expect to take part in clan events?

Hm, I have yet to post in this topic... I'll post my app/clan donation's progress!

So far overall (note that the current color is temporary; it will be changed once the plane is complete):

Landing gear right now:

I'm just not a fan of extensive building on the server. I can handle events just fine, in most cases we're just sitting there. I attended the meeting just the other day, sure it was laggy, but I was there and it worked fine.

It worked but I'm not doing it o:

I'm still amazed how many people call me the clan leader and don't bother to read the topic before they apply or talk to me about AoB. ><

Also, looks good RMS. You've made some progress since the last time I was there.

Thanks. People keep acting as if this will end up a shoo-in for me into AoB. Last I heard, Rem was simply thinking about it.

It's even more amazing how many people think that Ben is the clan leader.

It may seem silly, but for people who aren't familiar with the clan, they join a server called [AoB] Official. Perhaps the only super admin on the server is Ben, because he's the host. I would assume that too, if I didn't know better.

Yes, it's a hell of a disadvantage for a clan director to have a malfunctioning server.

In other news, I had an idea for the next clan project. The majority voted on Ski Resort, so the secondary server will be The Slopes. We could also do a sloped town for scenery, and a mansion above that. The town might include the lodge skiers start at, and another at the bottom next to the lake.

The theme here will be mountains; log cabins, pine trees, snow everywhere. The village will include cabins built by individual members, while the lodges, mansion, and the restaurant will all be cooperative builds.

Also, General Jake has volunteered to host a temporary dedi until we find someone who will host a regular or dedicated server.

I'm starting to think we should throw together our own mountains with a large plateau at points. Imagine how difficult a quality town as you described will be on Slopes. there's limited flat space that isn't right next to the lake on the road.

It would have to be huge of course to accommodate everything, but it's just a suggestion. It's not that hard to do really big cube landscapes with flat areas.

You give me the idea of doing alien worldscapes and building miniature small space cities on them. Perhaps members of AoB could submit their ideas for that and the rest of us could follow his or her design and build our bit of the city on that...

We would not use baseplates here, which is part of the reason why I picked a new server. This new server would forbid /clearspambricks, and I would save frequently. You might end up on a jagged hill, and build a room on the low part and the rest of the house above, who knows? You could build a log cabin with pillars, or create your own flat area.

If your going with the cabin build project thing, can I build my Eskimo Village on the other side of the lake where those damn tourists always come and rape my women?

If you're applying for AoB, you should build on Benofdoom's [AoB] Official.
