No no, he should still be able to get it. The April 10th limit is only to get the pass itself. If you already have it in the game, you should be able to go there.

I've mentioned I've played since Red/Blue. It always pissed me off when I'd have to constantly restart to get past average trainers. Hell, I don't get you people with training others. I align my party to work for me. Switching them in battle can be bad, switching them outside and forgetting means starting a real battle with a bad Pokemon. It's a lot simpler, and there's a lot less frustration.

Explain to me an efficient way to train all your Pokemon without accidentally forgetting before some trainer battle, starting out with a crap Pokemon, then dying while you switch...
